This product is a complete evaporative cooling system with a 3' high wall and 4" pads. You can choose different widths in the drop-down box above. For a higher wall or thicker pads, you can build a system purchasing components separately. This allows you to build a 4" or 6" system to any height from 2' to 8'. (See Dist. System 4" or Dist. Description
The Glacier-Cor Cooling System works together with your greenhouse fans to lower temperatures 10-25 degrees. When large quantities of air are pulled through Glacier-Cor air pads that are saturated with water, a substantial cooling effect is realized due to the evaporation of that water. Suited for virtually all geographic locations.

Assembly
Evap-pad system is placed on end wall or side wall of greenhouse. Normally, the maximum distance between fans and evap-pad system is 120 ft. The evap-pad system should extend the full length of the end or side wall. For multiple fans the distance between the fans should not exceed 20 ft. to keep hot spots from developing.

Aluminum Distribution and Return System
This complete system is 36" tall and comprised of the water distributor PVC pipe with metered outlet holes, top and bottom pad support material, water distributor cover, water return gutter, water strainer, float valve and miscellaneous parts and fasteners.
Pump and Plumbing Kit Submersible pump correctly sized to supply at least 1/2 gallon of water per minute per linear foot of pad system. Includes optional plumbing kit for easy plumbing of system. NOTE: Sump is not a standard part of the Glacier-Cor System and must be obtained locally. The sump should be sized for at least 3/4 gallon capacity per square foot of pad area.
4" thick x 36" tall Evaporative Cooling Pads Glacier-Cor pads are made from a specially formulated cellulose paper, impregnated with insoluable anti-rot salts, stiffening saturants and wetting agents to provide maximum cooling. (Other pad heights are available, call IGC for pricing.)
Sizing Chart
As a general guide, use the following system recommendation:
For 4" pad systems: Use 1 sq. ft. of pad per 250 CFM.
For 6" pad systems: Use 1 sq. ft. of pad per 400 CFM. NOTE: Other pad heights are available. Call IGC customer service for pricing.
