Place the polymer disks at the base of the plant hole. After the plant is placed, fill with backfill and water liberally. Use one polymer disk for each gallon size container. For outdoor plants, use one to two disks for each caliper inch on sensitive trees and shrubs. For heavy feeders and areas where no irrigation will be present, use up to three disks for each caliper inch.
