Solar Max Reinforced Poly Film is a 3-ply laminate combining two layers of fire retardant, linear, low density polyethylene and a high strength cord grid. It is specifically engineered to provide high strength and durability in a lightweight material.

On delivery I found several surprises. The 12' width was actually 3' widths seamed together. How well those seems hold is yet to be determined. The reinforcing fiber was not uniformly spaced. Then I discovered that polyethelene plastic has basically one adhesive that works - 3M-8005. Cost is $424 per case, smaller orders not accepted. It's also very hard to find. Hope you have no rips, tears or a need to fabricate or repair the film. In summary there are probably better choices especially since this film was expensive to begin with.
