Providing more than just tough fabric though, this ground cover is also permeable, allowing necessary water and nutrients to pass through and nourish your plants. We installed this product on several rows of our arbor and had to remove it two weeks later because the drip irrigation system would not work with it and even with pins every 8" the wind would flip it up and blow it away. Water will puddle on top of the fabric when ever the irrigation system runs and stays there for days basically if you use this fabric your plants will die of drout or be ripped from the ground because it acts like a sail. I would not recommend this product. On paper its a great idea but unless you can bury the edges tightly all of the way down the row and place irrigation beneith the fabric it is useless.
