Done works great. Top and side vents are z great addition to control humidity levels. Used with heat mat, vegetable seed germination in just 4 days.
Side Vents Fall Out !
Yes, for $3 don't expect much. First, mine were missing in my original order but no back order statement in the box. I had to contact customer service. Resent within a week. Great. I had ordered three. One is bent at the end. Another has a sticky-nesss that even lighter fluid cannot remove. Only one of three the end vents actually hold into place... as to how long we will see. All three top vents are fine because they are much bigger in size than the end vents. Just buy regular domes. Sticker on the dome says NEW AND IMPROVED PATENTED 3 WAY VENTILATION. HA ! They need to go back to the drawing board and come out with version 3....
I teach a course Starting Plants from Seed. Greenhouse Megastore pricing has allowed me to offer this course for $10.00.
Vent lids for seed trays
Very nice. Got our veggies up and growing very quickly with these lids.
Great to make your own Bio Dome!
These things are great! Vent on top and both ends and fit well on the 1020 trays. Love 'em!!
They do the job, but not as described
I received several dome lids. Most had tears in the side, as if they had been cut with a razor. The humidity dial is a piece of plastic that doesn't stay on. The domes work to keep some moisture in, but they aren't exactly as described.
Good for small seedlings
Good for years. Not that tall so good for starting new plants
7' Domes are far more practical than the 2 . I'm still waiting for the vent closers though
These Domes are not top of the line, but they do the job. they are sturdy/solid, and so far have lasted about 9-10 months without issue. The only problem I had was the side vents wouldn't stick on, so I had to tape them. Hardly a issue. I hope to get another year out of these guys, ordering a few more.
These are nice domes where you can control the humidy with 3 vented areas.
They're very flimsy so I'm not sure how long they'll last. I like the vent idea but the plastic needs to be heavier.
The domes arrived slashed by a razor. I wasn't too impressed by this since it looks like someone wasn't careful when they were breaking down the pallet. The two that were stacked together in the box were still usable with a little packing tape. I would have returned them but to me it wasn't worth returning them when I need to get plants started as soon as they arrived. As far as actual function, they did pretty well, the small vents fall off but stay on as long as you don't adjust them.
