Each small black tray is made of 100% recycled polypropylene that is injection-molded for a precise, consistent design. Two-tiered drainage holes help prevent soil oversaturation so young seeds don't drown. These seed starter trays will fit on almost any table, plant bench or windowsill, squeezing into tight spaces for more efficient growing.

With approximately one cubic foot of volume, a mini seed starter tray is ideal for vegetables, herbs, flowers and many other plants. They can be planted directly into the tray so you don't need extra containers. The trays are known to last and are easy to clean, letting you reuse them every time you start new crops. Great small seed tray

I would highly recommend the use of this small seed tray for anyone growing seeds of any type. I purchased the seed trays to see about using them to start our seeds in at our native plant nursery this growing season and was so impressed that I ordered more to us to use. We now have enough to start all of our seeds this season in these seed trays. The trays are made of heavy duty plastic and will not crack or break easily. They are also deeper than the standard trays that we have been using at our native plant nursery which make them ideal for starts with longer root systems. I am so happy with this product that I have purchased some for my personal use in growing my flower and vegetable starts, for one of my volunteers at our nursery and for my husband to use for growing native bulbs.

These were exactly what I was looking for! They are heavy duty, just the right size for starting seeds for my one-person garden. I just wish I had gotten more. I had previously ordered something that soundedlike these trays from another supplier, and they were more expensive and look like they will only last one season.
