The edges of these panels are sewn with heavy-duty reinforcing tape. Brass grommets are installed on approx. 2' centers around the perimeter. Often includes a seam where two pieces of shade have been sewn together. Durable, easy to install with ropes, bungees or wire. Most durable solution for smaller areas where shade will be suspended between four points. Grommeted panels are sold in pre-cut sizes or can be ordered in any custom size.
A raw piece of shade fabric where edges of panel are not reinforced with any tape or grommets. Would not typically have a seam but may have a raw (cut) edge. Can be installed with wiggle wire, shade cloth clips or wooden lath. Precut Panels are sold in pre-cut sizes or can be ordered in any custom size.
Sold in factory widths by the linear foot. Would only rarely have a seam and sides typically include a factory finished (uncut) edge. Most cost effective solution for large quantities of shade fabric.
30% density will block out 30% of light. Constructed of high density polyethylene, the tough lock-stitch design of this knitted material resists rips, tears and fraying while reducing wind speed and heat build up in structure.
Fabricated pieces include black reinforcing tape on all four sides. Reinforcing tape is a seat belt like material that provides extra durability along the edge of the piece and allows installation of grommets.
Fabricated sizes include a brass grommet in each corner of the piece and approximately every 2' apart around the entire perimeter. Grommets allow easy installation using rope or zip ties.
When hanging shade cloth pieces larger than 100 sq. ft., you may need extra center support to prevent the cloth from sagging in the middle. One easy way to do this is by running lightweight cable from corner to opposite corner, forming an X pattern that the cloth can rest on. For pieces larger than 400 sq. ft., you may need cables running end to end every 4' or so.

High Quality Black Shade Cloth
I am very pleased with this shade cloth. Study edging and strong grommets, along with high quality shade cloth, make this a great buy.
30% shade cloth
exact size, well made
I have purchased both 30 and 60% shade cloth over the last months and both have definitely saved my precious plants...the fabricated piece was perfect. Thank you
We are quite pleased with this product at this point. Seems very durable. We are using it over our tomato house. Thank you.
Sweet Shade cloth
It is everything i wanted & more, love the costom made by tag! Thanks Patty!
This shadecloth is exactly what I expected. Perfect
30 % Shade Cloth
The product, the service and shipping are great however I should have bought the 50 % shade cloth because of the heat we have in South Florida.
Convenient, prompt shipping, reasonably priced. Setting daylily seed pods in 100 degrees under this shade cloth
Good shade cloth
I'm using this 30% shade cloth to cover a portion of my yard where I grow succulents. It is just right for reducing the harsh full sunlight while allowing enough light in for the plants to grow well. Keeps plants from burning. Seems to be well made so far.
Black Shade Cloth
Haven't used the 30% shade cloth I just received, but used the 50% from greenhouse megastore last year. Quality is excellent and works great. Simple answer to areas that need some- but not complete- shade. I use them over our little intex pool (50%) and over the garden (30%). 110 degrees with full sun is a little too much for my son and my plants...
Ordered the shade cloth for my blackberries. Last year I lost over 30% of my berries to sun scale. This year I have not had one berry lost to the heat or sun. The quality impressed me. The borders are doubled stitched and strong gramlets It has also helped make it a little cooler for us alas we pick. We will be using your company in the future. Thank you.
Kikk But & hands down the best price we could find !!!
I put the shade screen over part of my garden because the sun is so hot here. The plants under the shade screen are doing much better than the plants out in the direct sun. I would recommend this product and will buy another one for the rest of my garden.
30% black shade cloth
I can't give a 5 yet because I haven't had these for more than 2 weeks but they are cutting out some sun light and thus reducing the temperature around my peppers and tomatoes. We have had stretches of 100+ degree temps that have not been kind to any of the plants. We had to do something so we'll just have to wait and see.
This is a very good product! The grommets are very secure and uniform. It took me no time to unpack and install right on my greenhouse. I plan on buying more of these!
Greenhouse shade cloth
Products was as described and shipped very quickly.
Quick return on investment
The summers here are so hot that even heat-loving plants like peppers, tomatoes, and southern peas (cowpeas) go dormant in the summer, just trying to survive. The 30% shade cloth helps them stay healthy, grow, and produce through the summer. This product paid for itself in 2 years.
Awesome product and service
Great price and great service. I liked the way this company shipped much sooner that the time frame they advertised. Product beat expectations and our garden has improved dramatically. I highly recommend anyone in the deep southern area of N America to use a shade cloth.
I bought 30% shadecloth recently. I have also bought 40% in the past. Love it. Great price.
Ordered to cover a movable hoop house in the paster to protect my chickens from hawks. It's strong yet light weight and is working well.
Good product and great service
30% shade fabric provides our 4 plants with the perfect amount of heat protection. We've cut the fabric we ordered into smaller sizes with no tearing or fraying of the fabric. We were told the lead time would be 3 weeks for our order placed near the end of June. However, we were thrilled when the fabric arrived in about 10 days. We're REALLY happy with the speed of this delivery, the promptness of email order confirmations and the friendliness and politeness of customer service on the phone.
