Description

Create ideal growing conditions and save on water.

The Curlex erosion control blanket promotes faster seed germination for grass by protecting topsoil from wind and water erosion. Blanket cushions raindrop impact, decreases compaction and soil crusting, helps retain soil moisture, and guards seeds against predators.

Great Lakes Aspen curled wood excelsior is biodegradable and the non-toxic netting on top is photodegradable. The lightweight design and biodegradable material make this erosion control blanket easy to use and environmentally sound.

  • curlex
This was just what we need to keep the hill in place.

Price and shipping on this products were great. The first roll came off perfectly and was easy to install. The second roll was a bit tangled as it came and took a great deal of effort to roll out. Still, the end result was what we needed and hopefully it will hold the banks a bit more.
  • Works well
I used this material on a pond dam. I also used jute. The jute works well also but the curlex has a few advantages. Used on Incline you can walk on it and it does not slide or sink as Jutes will. Stays put well and helps provide some nutritional value to soil when it breaks down.
