Windy weather this is the anchor you need

We have had winds up to 70 mph and our greenhouse has stayed put.

lack of attention to construction details

The pieces took a lot of tweaking to get everything to go together. I am glad I had a skilled carpenter helping me, because we had to take the door apart and shorten it in order to get it to close. There were also gaps over 1/2 inch that we filled by using our own red cedar. And finally, the roof vents came hinged on the wrong side, leaving. All in all, it turned out ok but for a product this expensive it shouldn't require this many fixes from the buyer in order to make it work.

Simple to Use

I found this product to be simple to use and the cross-hatch design gives me confidence that it will keep our new greenhouse from the Land of Oz (get it?).

Sunshine Garden Greenhouse

I love the greenhouse now that it is up but that part was a bit of a struggle. The hardest part was that it did not come with any written instructions at all. There was only the video that did not quite demonstrate every step. The video also did not address any differences for the four foot extension I added to the 6x8 greenhouse. There was one bracket on the base that was put on slightly off at the manufacturer but that was easy to fix just by removing the screws to adjust and then screwing it back on again. There was also a slight issue with one of the extensions for the side rails on the roof not being trimmed right where the two pieces come together. Again, that was fairly easily fixable. The quality of the greenhouse overall matches the price. It seems quite sturdy and the roof is a perfect height height for me with no bending required. (Taller people may need to watch their heads if right up against the wall though.) Overall, my main issue is the lack of written directions. We had to keep running inside to watch the video which was kind of a pain. Some things we just had to guess as the video never demonstrated them at all. A few times we guessed wrong and had to undo things and then turn it around. I definitely recommend this greenhouse as it is a great greenhouse for the price. If the instructions were more thorough I would give this 5 stars even with the minor mistakes it came with. It took three of us about 7 hours to assemble with the mistakes from guessing wrong and the minor things that were done wrong at the manufacturer. Written instructions along with the video would make it go quite a bit faster by eliminating a lot of guessing and backtracking.

Greenhouse anchor kits

The brackets are great - nice and solid. We needed to sink the stakes through limestone screening, though, so we had to replace the 16ish inch rebar stakes with more like 30 inch rebar. Mounted them on the inside cause it looks better.

Garden House Anchor Kit

The greenhouse anchor kit was very easy to install & made my greenhouse feel much more stable. Even though it is placed in a protected area we still get some pretty strong winds. The bracket is heavy steel; not some flimsy plate of sheet metal& with the rebar stakes crossing I think it will hold better thatn some other designs I checked on. I would purchase these again.

Great greenhouse for our small back yard

The sunshine garden house has been a wonderful addition to our back yard. We are avid gardeners living in a city that doesn't have huge lots so our backyard space is very valuable and this greenhouse has enabled us to do even more with the space we have available. Everything we used to start inside in our living room under grow lamps is now out in the greenhouse and we are see incredible results. No longer will we have to go shopping for starts when our plants are further behind the season than we want and by planting some veggies in pots that can stay in the greenhouse we have extended our season a great deal. The functionality of this greenhouse is great as the automatic windows do a great job of regulating the temperatures which is important given the intensity of the sun in our climate - it still gets nice and warm in there, but the temps don't max out to unbearable levels. The only downside I found was that the original construction of the greenhouse could have used a little more attention to detail. Some of the windows required some trimming to ensure their easy close and some of the joints were off by a bit; no more than a 1/4 inch. It would have been nice to not have to make these modifications to ensure that the greenhouse was tight and ready to go from the start, but these were a small price to pay for the benefits we've gained.
