Good for set up

These are a cool design, but they do not function well with wind. They work really well for clamping your plastic sheeting to your piping when laying out the sheeting, but they will pop off of the piping when the taught sheeting is hit with some wind or pressure. The edges of the aluminum clamps were also not filed or tumbled which will cut your plastic because of their rough edges. You could drill through the center of the clamp and through your piping to hold them in place with a nut and bolt modified system.

A little over kill

Got these to go over the plastic clamps but feel they are just overkill. My plastic is secure with the plastic clamps. I only used 4 on the corners. More than enough if needed at all.

nice grip clamps

I bought these strip of grip clamps and then cut them into 3-4 inch lenghts to snap over my 3/4 inch pvc pipe on the end of my greenhouse. They are very snug and hold the plastic on tightly. Excellent product.

Your grip clamps are great. My garden receives heavy morning winds. Your clamps hold my shade cloths in place without damaging them and provide enough strength to keep my PVC garden frame in place.

Grip clamps do the job...

I've purchased these on several occasions. Do like the new ones as they've got a knurled edges so you can remove them more easily. If you use the plastic clamps you'll need these for high stress areas no doubt... and the plastic clamps will lose some of their grip with use so these aluminum ones do become necessary.

Work Great

Although I didn't think I would need these, as I live in an area that is quite protected by wind, I bought them just in case. Used them on the ends for a row of tomatoes that I needed to cover due to a cool spring. You can definitely tell they tighten the grip. I still don't know if I would REALLY need them but am comforted knowing they are there just in case. They work as described, and are so easy to attach. Removing them you have to tug a little but that should be expected. Nice little lip on the edge helps with the grip when removing them.

These are so easy to use, every time I want to lift the side of the greenhouse/cold frame to rearrange flats or put in plants or seeds, the clamps ease of use is great!

Grip Clamps like glue

I used these grips to hold my quilting layers tight to the PVC quilt frame. These grips instantly stopped the slippage allowed by the PVC pipe clamp when it is used alone.. Great product for hand quilting projects.
