too soon to evaluate
This is different composition fabric, seems it might be stronger meaning less likely to tear than the fabric I have been using. Ask me again in a year for actual evaluation. I used the cloth inside the greenhouse to form mini tents over the benches, that hold the heat from my heats placed under the benches. The cloth I had been using does not hold up more than two winter seasons, even when I folded and stored. Hoping for better lasting use as well as temperature control.

Has many uses
I'm giving the product a 4 right now until I see how it holds up through the winter. The fabric is of high quality and I'm very satisfied at this point. I like the fact that that it can be cut to make smaller pieces for smaller plants.

Not Suitable Frost Protection for Banana Trees
I covered my 10 ft. high ornamental banana tree with 2 of these cloths by creating a parachute over the tree and wrapping the trunk. After the first freeze, mild damage to leaves. After the second, leaves are dead. While product claims to protect against 32 degrees and below, my banana tree has severe frost damage and I will most likely have to cut it down in the spring. :-(

frost free fabric covers
I'm absolutely sold on your fabric. I grow lettuce directly into the ground through the winter in a greenhouse that I don't heat. We've had temps in the single digits for 4 days. I put 5 layers of this product over the greens and they made it without any problem. I highly recommend this fabric.

It was 25 degrees last night in Garden Ridge. The N-sulate Fabric with a heat lamp underneath is the only thing that saved our Meyer lemon tree from frost damage in our yard.

Not Very Useful!
I bought 3 of the smaller size to cover tender plants during freeze in January. They did little to protect the plants and Ill go back to burlap, which is what I had used the prior year, successfully. Burlap is lighter and easier to handle than this.
