  • This stuff is awesome
I love this stuff...now a days its easy to break apart with your hands...i know you can just soak in water but sometimes you need I need to break it apart.. ITS good though. way better then peat
  • Blue plastic in it!
This is expanding just as any other coir I've used has (it is currently soaking in water). However, as I am breaking it apart I am seeing, and having to remove, A LOT of blue strips of plastic.I won't waste it but I definitely won't buy this brand again.
  • Doesn't expand, has blue strips of plastic in it
I soaked this for hours and it didn't expand. I spent a lot of time trying to force pieces to crumble in the water and it literally cut my hand. There are also several blue strips of plastic mixed in with the Coco coir. I bought two blocks and attempted to use one, and failed, the other I can see the blue plastic through the packaging so I'm not even going to try. I'm super annoyed. I will definitely not buy GROW!t products ever again.
  • Its now GROW IT! not PLANT IT!
I loved PLANT IT!. Now I am getting what is called on the outside GROW IT!. its more finer and not as good as plant it!. The bar code is the same number so Idk what the factory is doing now. Blah..The only difference on the package is that it says its dry cubic feet is a little less but GROW IT! is way finer and way lighter color then the PLANT IT! ... I hate when companies change a good thing.
  • Bag says
I ordered the GROW!T before and was not too crazy about it, too dense for seedlings and seed starting. I lost a fall season of brassicas, they just won't flourish like I am used to (started from seed). So I thought to try the PLANT!T, turns out it is the same thing, according to the packages I received last night :(. Slightly disappointed since this stuff is not cheap but hauling 50 lbs bags of potting soil is beyond me. The WONDERSOIL is great but twice the price. Any suggestions?
  • =)
Love your guys site =P:: really do cause I get my stuff like in 4 days or even less and I usually buy bulk items, oh this coconut coir is really good only thing bad about it is if you transplant before the roots can attach to the coconut coir the coir shape that was formed in the pot well latterly crumble also you have to have a good eye knowing if your coir is still wet or moist but I already got use to it =)
  • Great quality Coir!
This is some of the nicest coco peat/coir I have purchased. It is very friable, soft, broke up super easy in the water, and smells great! Some coco peat/coir products I have bought in the past were mostly coconut hair or didn't break up as nice as this, while some hair is nice, it clumped up WAY too much and left huge lumps in the soil. This has a much nicer texture, more like real soil with just a slight amount of hair for water retention, etc. And you CANNOT beat the price. I've paid twice as much for a much more inferior product. Again, this coco peat/coir is GREAT! I will definitely buy again when the need arises.
  • Expands when watered
This is a great soil additive, I mix with the Pro mix biofungicide, and my used soil to make a wonderful fresh planting mix. Maybe best used as a top dressing indoors and out, will help with any bug infestation also.
  • Awesome CoCoPeat for Potting Mix
Compared to other coconut coir products I've used this is really nice. The texture, once expanded, is amazing. It is not stringy at all.
  • coco coir is the best
I have been using plant!t coco coir for many years. It is better than peat moss in many ways. Air to water holding is good with a PH of 6.5, the plants love it.
