Great product, working out well for my CPplants.
Went to Greenhouse Mega store as a last resort. Couldn't find a good propagating lid. What a surprise. Made in England and very good quality. Didn't expect anything this good. Not the junk you usually find.
This product does not tolerate shipping well. Both - the original purchase and its replacement arrived broken when wrapped in brown paper and shipped in a light-weight cardboard box.
Finally a large dome lid that is not flimsy. I will be able to use this for years to start seeds or grow microwave greens in my large seed trays. I only wish it came in a shorter size too so I could get my light closer Fabulous price!!,,
Great for starting seeds
Sturdy construction with nice high dome lid.
Great XL Dome Covers
I got the XL tray with no holes and XL dome covers. The dome cover is considerably taller than the other dome covers I have and quite a bit more substantial. I like the vents that turn for adjustment. Both the XL dome cover and XL trays are quality products with substantial feel and a little bit of flex which should keep them in good shape (as long as they are subjected to minimal baking in the sun) for years to come.
Large enough cover for extra-large seedlings.
The dome is high enough and strong enough to accommodate young seedlings or pots up to 1-gal. size needing cover. The dial vents are a nice feature to moderate midday temps, and the sturdy construction makes it likely to last more than the one-off a flimsy dome cover does.
I like toe height which works very well for varieties that get tall immediately, i.e. nasturtium. They are a little fragile and I have had 1 crack within the first week.
