I love this little paper pot maker. What a great idea, especially for those delicate little seedlings you don't want to transplant. Just put the little pots in the ground. Good to go.
This is a great product. Builds a sturdy pot that will decompose.
Small Paper Potter
I believe this product performs just as advertised, as long as you use the correct paper size, which is clearly spelled out in the instructions. It's high quality, and you can make paper pots immediately with it. Good product.
Works exactly as advertised. I am glad I bought it. Its a must have cheap option for gardeners wanting to start seeds indoors.
This is fun
I bought the smaller version to use as a biodegradable plug for squash plantings. After using it a few hundred times, I ordered the larger potter to allow more growth. You can modify the height of the container easily with width of the paper used. Newspaper works well, packing paper is better, paper bags create a thicker pot that will last for weeks before planting. Will use for selling tomato plugs next year and as a cheaper substitute for 2 jiffy pots.
Absolutely love this item! When helping in the garden my 3 year old daughter loves to use it as well. Was initially worried about moisture issues but the newspaper and size are perfect for starting seeds and keeping seedlings for a while before requiring planting.
Neat little gadget
What a clever little gadget. I had been using bottles and cans to make paper pots, but the Paper Potter is SOOOO much easier. I got mine the second day after I ordered it and so far just today I've made 105 pots. It would be great if there was a larger version of it, too. I'd buy one in a New York minute.
One of the two I purchased had a flaw (good sized chip inside the base) Will keep that myself and give the other as a gift. Except for perhaps a quality control issue, this is a great little product and I will continue to use it.
So fun, a great idea!
I have been playing with this since it arrived. I have filled several small trays with homemade pots and have started seeds in them. I like the fact that the pots can be planted directly into the soil. Better than peat pots, because you are recycling newspaper, plus newspaper degrades better than peat in my garden. The pots turn out sturdy enough to hold the soil and plants, and they are really cute. It will be fun to give small plants in these pots as gifts. Great idea, great product. I LOVE IT!
Wish I had invented this..
This is such a handy product. I wish I had thought of it. The 'pots' that you make are reliable and hold up to water/soil. I use brown paper bags to make starter pots and they are great.
This little gadget really works nicely, Think of the money i'll be saving and being a little more green.
Love this, also got one as a gift for a friend. Everyone should be looking for ways to recycle.
Nice to find hard to find garden products at an inexpensive price ;))
