This Lacing Cord and Needle are ideal for attaching fabric to timber and metal frames, steel posts and cable. The lacing cord has a strong braided, UV stabilized yarn construction that will easily lace together 6'10" of shade fabric. Includes 80ft. of Lacing Cord.
I bought this cord together with custom built shade cloth to go over my deck. I used 2-10 1/2 ft fencing top rails for each side and laced up shade cloth to top rails. I ran aircraft cable through the rails and used it for support above deck. It is a nice and tight fit. The wind does not blow it all over the place and should last a while. I plan on taking down in winter for storage. Plants look great and safe from hot sun.

I actually used this to sew two 6 x 50 shade cloths together. Actaully I made it 18 x 30. A lot of work, but so far they have held together with wind and some heavy rain. Plus I ended up saving a boatload - rather than buying a custom sized cloth!
