I was disappointed in this mix. It contains alot of bark and sticks. Very time consuming to have to pick it all out before using it for african violet plants. I hope they improve their mix in the future. I don't plan to buy it again.
What else can you say? It's good stuff. Plants love it, and they should. Might need a little more Worm Castings and some more Perlite for added drainage and goodness. Other stuff if you know your plants need it, like soil acidifier if you are doing blueberries or maybe Hydrangeas if you want them to be blue. Otherwise, it's good right out of the bag. The only downside is, of course, the cost. Everything costs so much these days, it's not "Dirt Cheap" anymore! As for the picture, yes that's some of the Frog Dirt (as I call it) that I've doctored up with some more Perlite and some other things. What I don't know is what kind of Gynura plant this is?
