The Planta Sungrow 26 (Gen III) is a heavy-duty greenhouse designed for serious backyard growing and three- or four-season cultivation of flowers, fruits, and vegetables. With approximately 260 sq. ft. of growing space, it offers plenty of room for raised beds, shelving, and a variety of crops. Building on one of Planta's most popular designs, this upgraded model combines enhanced structural strength, improved snow resistance, and convenient features for both residential and commercial growers.
Built to withstand demanding weather conditions, the Sungrow 26 features an eight-foot roof height for a comfortable working environment. Its reinforced, hot-dip galvanized steel frame provides enhanced strength and rust resistance, while 6 mm twin-wall polycarbonate panels offer excellent insulation and impact resistance. The distinctive bell-shaped structure helps shed wind, rain, and heavy snow loads of up to six feet. Large polycarbonate sheets mount outside the frame to improve structural strength and reduce thermal bridging, while pre-cut end panels simplify installation. Upgraded aluminum trim securely holds the panels in place for added durability and weather resistance.
New insulated, aluminum-framed split doors at both ends help reduce heat loss and drafts while providing convenient access. Independently opening upper sections allow for ventilation, while integrated locks, upgraded door handles, and new window/door latches provide added security and ease of operation. The latches allow the upper windows and lower doors to open together as one unit when desired. Additional automated ventilation windows can be installed for improved airflow and temperature control. A flexible anchoring system includes ground anchors for suitable soil conditions and angle brackets for securing the greenhouse to an existing foundation.
