I found these seed trays and use them as bulb keepers. I sell bulbs in the spring and needed a more permanent solution than cardboard boxes. These are perfect. They are strong and just the right size.
I purchased these to grow baby greens in the winter months. They fit perfect on my benches in my grow room where I start all my plants in January. I thought this year I would grow some baby greens in November and December before I start my other plants in January. These will do nicely. Two came broken out of the 10 from damage to the box during shipping. GHMS replaced them really quick. These should last for a very long time, but I expect no less from the quality of Garland products produced in England. I'm a happy customer and glad that GHMS carries the Garland product line of growing trays!
bought these to grow oat grass fodder for my flock. also using them to grow onion seeds for spring transplant. VERY sturdy, should last for years.
When the standard 10x20 aren't enough for your market garden produce or when you need more produce to sell at the local restaurant, these are the next step - super!
This tray is a huge upgrade in comparison with the flats I've been previously using. All the flats crack after a couple handling, and these trays are nice and sturdy. They are also very nice size and can accommodate a wide range of pot sizes. I use them for up to 3gal pots and they hold just fine. Planning to buy more and completely substitute all the flats in my mini nursery
Sturdy trays. I use them for my fodder system.
I like the fact that water can't drain. they did the job!
The holes in the green trays are way too large to use for growing barley fodder - it washes right on through the holes during watering until the barley is about 4 days old. The description states: These trays also make excellent containers for growing wheatgrass as well as various other kinds of fodder and seed. No, they do not. :(But, they are handy for putting grown fodder into to serve to the chickens.
It did the job with flying colors. I used it to support my orchids in my greenhouse and the drainage was perfect.
Excellent size for my bonsai Forrest
