This nozzle is awesome for watering orchids and propagating with cuttings! it puts out a little of a lot of water that is atomized that doesn't disturb the top of the soil from being washed away. Very happy with my purchase and planning on buying a few more.
I use this purely with a cheap plastic on/off switch on my garden hose and hotswap between it and a rain breaker for my watering needs. I used to use a travel bidet (bottle with holes poked in it) for watering in fine seeds but I switched to this and it's pure bliss.
I plan on getting a few more for some family members but I need to wait until I put in a larger order because the shipping for just a nozzle is steep.
I have a Fogg-It 1gpm nozzle that I've happily used for 20-odd years, so when I needed something with a finer mist, of course I went with a Fogg-It nozzle again. This newer nozzle is built just as well as my older one, so I fully expect it, and my older nozzle, to outlast me!
I got the Fogg-It Nozzle - Super Fine Mist, 0.5 GPM.I wanted to use it in the horse paddock to cool the horses, but it still gave off too much water and left a muddy area after an hour or two. So I filled two of the three nozzles with super glue gel and it's perfect now! The hottest four hours of the day, and no mud.I am planning on getting more for the raised bed garden...no adjustment needed.
the quick disconnect is very handy. I use it along with a shut off valve so that I dont have to walk 100 feet to my next connection. I have an acre of desert with lots of rock and it stands up well to this difficult application.
product produces a fine mist with normal house water pressure good product
This is a great product if you raise bonsai trees. The mist is gentle, but the flow is smooth and ample. You can soak your bonsai soil in under a minute, yet provide the leaves with a gentle soaking.
We took it to an Orchid expert in Ecuador who has experience with this product.

This is far superior to the black rubber style. Costs more, but better product and I expect years of use from the brass. I am ordering more today.
