Constructed with genuine OEM-quality TFC (thin film composite) membrane material, this membrane delivers consistent and dependable results when treating tap or brackish water sources. Its extra low energy design allows efficient operation at pressures as low as 100 PSI, helping reduce overall system energy requirements.
To maintain optimal system performance, periodic membrane cleanings are recommended. Both acidic and alkaline cleaning chemicals are available and effective for removing common types of fouling, including calcium carbonate scale and biological growth.
Membrane replacement intervals will vary depending on RO system production levels and overall performance characteristics, allowing maintenance schedules to be tailored to actual operating conditions.
