I purchased (2) of these kits for a 30 x 72 Greenhouse. One went bad in month 14. I was informed by J&D that the warranty lasts 12 months and that "sometimes they go bad". 14 months on a motor that runs one Louvre panel indoors is pathetic.
I have been trying to find these motors for years now with the female thread nut on the end. so glad i found them and at such a good price!
About 4 years ago I purchased a 30'x60' greenhouse complete with swamp cooler. After 4 years of hard use, one shutter actuator broke. I called the same salesman at Greenhouse Megastore and he found the exact part immediately. It arrived quickly. No substitution with cheaper made parts - the new one is identical to the original.
