Important Note: Depending on the environment, Polyvinyl chloride (PVC) based materials including any type of PVC pipe, PVC wire or PVC tape, etc. may react with greenhouse polymer films and cause wear. In such cases Chlorine generated from the degradation of PVC and the residual chlorine inside PVC may attack and destroy the Hindered Amine Light Stabilizer in the greenhouse polymer film. This may cause the film to prematurely degrade and will void the warranty. If using with pvc, please use our white felt in between.

Great so far
strong but limited in width, an awesome cheap alternative to polycarb for hail-proof small-time glazing.
reinforced plastic shheting
I have had this product on my hoop house for two years, and need to replace it only because I didn't have it sufficiently battened down against strong winds, and it eventually began to tear. I live in high desert in New Mexico, fierce sun, winds up to fifty MPH. sometimes heavy snow. This time I will fasten it with small pieces of wood screwed down over the plastic and fastening it to the wood structure of the hoop house foundation, and I think it will last many years. This is THE BEST.
Easy to work with and lasted 8 years in the Arizona sun!
Solar max reinforced polyfilm is pretty good
I used the polyfilm to cover a grow globe I built. The idea being to turn it into a greenhouse in the winter and a more efficient grow room in the summer. This poly film is pretty easy to work with. The only difficulty was that tape didn't stick to it (I tried multiple kinds) so I had to staple it which was not ideal. Other than that I liked the stuff and the greenhouse megastore is good to work with.
Solar Max Poly Film
Seems like good stuff. It was cut a bit crooked, but was over sized enough to work anyway.
Exactly what I was needing
Great quality should last for years
Widths are not exact. Few inches short. I mistakenly built my structure first. What a waste of money
Extremely sturdy and easy to install. Excellent light transmission. I would recommend this product.
Good quality. Just as described.
Went up well and have no complaints at this point.
Just as expected
I received the solar plastic on time & for the price expected. I am using it for hail protection over a vegetable garden & it appears to be working as hoped.
I am very satisfied with the quality of this product.--seems very durable. It arrived in the amount of time promised.
Solar Max Covering
So far I'm really impressed with the product. The test will be when the mountain winds begin to blow. But I do believe that this product will live up to its reputation. Our winds can reach to fifty mph in no time at all. Crossing my fingers on the structure.
Cheap yet very effective
I used it for the ends of my greenhouse. It cut easily and straight thanks to the grid pattern., and is holding up pretty well against the strong winds with minimal support. Using adhesive zippers made doorways a cinch as well.
I purchased and installed this product six months ago on a custom built hobby greenhouse I built. So fare it has endured temperatures above 100 down to 3 degrees. The wind has exceeded fifty mph and hasn't caused any problems. When I installed it I stretched it as tight as I could get it. When it is cold it is now tight as a drum. It was easy to install using stainless staples topped by redwood lath. It has held up very well. The 45 degree top makes it easy for the snow to slide off. So far it looks great.
The product has only been installed a week but it has been exposed to high winds and less than ideal conditions. It has maintained temperatures in my raised bed comparable to my greenhouse. This is at an altitude of 9000ft and with winds gusting 40 to 50 mph. I would recommend this product.
Cold Frame Covering
I have installed the Poly Film as a cover for the windows on my cold frame. It was very easy to install. Time will tell the story on longevity.
On delivery I found several surprises. The 12' width was actually 3' widths seamed together. How well those seems hold is yet to be determined. The reinforcing fiber was not uniformly spaced. Then I discovered that polyethelene plastic has basically one adhesive that works - 3M-8005. Cost is $424 per case, smaller orders not accepted. It's also very hard to find. Hope you have no rips, tears or a need to fabricate or repair the film. In summary there are probably better choices especially since this film was expensive to begin with.
