I purchased 2 -50% white shade cloths 14x15 ft to go over my shade area of my garden this year. I live @ 5,ooo ft.it gets hot..90* right now..on hot days I turn on my misters for a few seconds mid day to help keep the plants cooler.. I grow peas broccoli lettuce kale etc. all through summer. It ended up I tucked the cloth under my PVC hoops on my greenhouse..worked fine. as my greenhouse is curved..I am going to purchase 2 or 3 more to cover the whole thing for next year. Plenty of light. I would stick with 50% glad I didn't go lower in %. this replaces two layers of frost cloth( seed covering cloth) which were .5 oz which I had doubled.and used before..which also works great. Just wanted a more professional look. I used zip ties where needed to attach to my PVC. Garden is thriving, I plant nasturtiums to bring in the bees for pollinating. I find this 50% works for all plants in the garden..I use from June on after the last frost I remove my frost cloth covers and put this on, this would protect plants from freezing I think to some degree...yes I will use again. well sewn, and looks just like the picture. made of a synthetic resin which is a polymer of propylene same thing used to make ropes and molded items. which is what they make woven shade cloth from. Price was decent.
