Length of plastic profile used for joining two polycarbonate panels side by side. Clear plastic profile creates less noticeable vertical seams than aluminum profiles.
Longer sections of profile are also available, but they are not listed online due to shipping. Please call 1-888-281-9337 to obtain a quote from a Sales Representative.
This product may ship via Standard Ground Service or Motor Freight Carrier depending on size and weight of your order.
From YouTube videos of how to install multi wall polycarbonate with H-profile I expected a struggle. It went together smoothly.
Easy to slide polycarbonate sheets into this connector and it holds well once fastened. It also cuts easily.
I bought the H profile for 8mm polycarbonate. It fit well and blends in well so seams are nearly invisible. It's good to get a few extra pieces in case you are running short of the sheeting and need to put in a few extra vertical seams.
as advertised
Easily cut with a fine toothed circular saw blade. Firmly holds the polycarbonate panels together. I only used 2 pieces in the construction of a coldframe and they worked great. They did arrive very scuffed up, as if they had been sitting on the warehouse floor for awhile. Overall a good product.
H-profile worked well joining 6mm polycarbonate.
Arrived timely and whole, fit well, installed well.
The H channels are very handy to join 2 pieces together. A little hard to get together, but nice and snug once you do get them on.
All connecting pieces shipped scratched
I used 2x4' polycarbonate panels for my pool's solar heater array. In addition to using 4' sections of 'H' channel between panels, I used them as 2' long attachment points along the top edge by sawing off the top two arms of the 'H' to make the pieces 'U' shaped, and attaching each piece at the top with a single screw through the center square piece of the 'U'. These made very sturdy brackets for holding the top edge of the panels. The panels and trim pieces all cut very easily on my table saw using a diamond cutoff blade. Excellent product. It remains to be seen how durable they will be in this environment. (Pictures available if you wish.)
