I am installing the Twinwall polycarbonate sheets now on my greenhouse and I am quite pleased with these panels. They are strong and very easy to cut. Glad I found them on the internet.
Used these for the ends of our hoop house. Easy install. Perfect in all seasons!
Replacing several of my old panels and these are far superior to what the greenhouse came with. Shipping was fast and everything reasonably priced.
Let's in a ton of light, easy to cut and work with. Sizing advertised is fairly accurate to within an inch.
I like your product , the ends of the sheet get bent doing shipping you need to reforce and pad the end . I have some bendt edges ,, im half way with my 16 x 16 buliding . trying to use some of the sheets has been duffcullt where to full sheets . i have gone to cutting off a1'' or 2''to make it work i hope i can finish my Greenhouse with the sheets i have
Have had a small greenhouse covered with Twinwall for over twenty years, needed to reglaze a couple of years ago due to weathering. A significant hailstorm forced me to do it this year. This stuff has staying power at 8,300 feet of elevation.
The Megastore shipped a 10 pack and it arrived in good shape and quicker than expected. I would certainly use them again.
material arrived in good order and was clearly marked as to how to install. These panels seem to be of good quality and the only problem I had was due to the measurements of my greenhouse which required me to trim 1/8 inch off each piece because they were slightly to wide to fit my greenhouse. very pleased with the end result.
I bought 2'x6' Twinwall Polycarbonate (TP) sheets from Greenhouse Megastore to replace some much cheaper panels that came as part of a 6'x8' greenhouse kit I bought from another store. These TP panels are not 2' wide - they are about 1/2 inch wider. That's not giving me more product. That's giving me more work because I had to cut 1/2" off the entire length to get them to fit. The inside of the TP is coated with a white, translucent film to filter a bit more sunlight and UV. Great concept - but in less than a year, the white film starts to peel off and has to be glued back on with silicone. These TPs are better than the panels I'm replacing, but that's all. GM says "...they come from the mfgr that way..." so they're no help either. Buyer beware.
I found these a few years ago and I have been replacing the 4mm panels in our greenhouse with these. They clear and strong. I have used a plywood blade on a table saw to cut them. nice clean cuts.
I am vary happy with the 8mm polycarbonate panels and trim pieces overall. As suggested by the Greenhouse Megastore staff, you will should confirm the size of the sheets before starting any framing. I enclosed an existing patio to serve as a greenhouse / atrium. My sheets ranged in width from 24" to 24 3/8". If you start framing the structure at 24" on center this could cause a great deal of extra work. You would need to modify the frame work or cut the poly sheets smaller to fit the layout. Speed is the key take it slow and easy. I cut my pieces with a 4" diamond blade in a hand held grinder and a chop saw with 60 tooth blade for trim. The only down fall you will get the debris in between the walls of multi wall sheets. The easy fix is to have a compressor and air gun to blow out the debris.
