The edges of these panels are sewn with heavy-duty reinforcing tape. Brass grommets are installed on approx. 2' centers around the perimeter. Often includes a seam where two pieces of shade have been sewn together. Durable, easy to install with ropes, bungees or wire. Most durable solution for smaller areas where shade will be suspended between four points. Grommeted panels are sold in pre-cut sizes or can be ordered in any custom size.
A raw piece of shade fabric where edges of panel are not reinforced with any tape or grommets. Would not typically have a seam but may have a raw (cut) edge. Can be installed with wiggle wire, shade cloth clips or wooden lath. Precut Panels are sold in pre-cut sizes or can be ordered in any custom size.
Sold in factory widths by the linear foot. Would only rarely have a seam and sides typically include a factory finished (uncut) edge. Most cost effective solution for large quantities of shade fabric.

40% density will block out 40% of light. Perfect for use over patios or flowering plants which will be effected by longer natural light exposure due to an increase in light quantity and duration. This white polyethylene fabric absorbs and reflects the white scattered light from the atmosphere. The interior of the structure is cooler than that covered by black shade cloth in hot weather conditions, as white shade cloth reflects the heat.
5 year prorated warranty against UV degradation
Depending on the size ordered, your shade fabric may contain a factory seam.
We guarantee our stock shade pieces will be within +/- 4" of the published dimensions. Accuracy has only very rarely been a problem, but keep in mind these variances.

When hanging shade cloth pieces larger than 100 sq. ft., you may need extra center support to prevent the cloth from sagging in the middle. One easy way to do this is by running lightweight cable from corner to opposite corner, forming an X pattern that the cloth can rest on. For pieces larger than 400 sq. ft., you may need cables running end to end every 4' or so.
Wow! I wish I had this from the start! I can’t believe how well it works and cooks off tge greenhouse. It’s really amazing. The quality is excellent. All the seems are well stitched with heavy duty grommets making installation far easier than imagined.

These are great pre-grommeted panels. I now have 5 of the 6 ft X 12 ft panels. They are light, hence easy to support, and I believe the white color is valuable for not altering the spectrum of light passing through and also is more highly reflective than darker cloth. I have measured the light transmission with a PAR meter several times, and the 40% shade claim is quite close when the sun angle is highest. I like this product.
I a very happy with the purchase. Due to the extreme heat I bought these shade cloths for my ducks and chickens. They are working well. Good size and seem to be very well made.
Actually bought this shade cloth as temporary summer screening for my back porch (faces due west and gets scorching!!!😧). It works fabulously well and definitely keeps my electric bill down 👏 I’m *sure* it works equally well for plants’ protection.
A great shade, however,... not built for the long haul. I would think a heavier hem with more stitching would greatly improve its' performance life. Mine was also about 1foot short all around. It is on the greenhouse now and hope it works out through the summer.
So far so good.
We used this on top of our hog wire hoop house. The install was easy. The plants love it. We live in area with a lot of 100 degree summer days. So having this over our plants really help. We will buy another soon for another hoop house.
20 x 20 fit perfectly on a Planta Sungrow 20. Keeps the temp down and looks great. Plants are thriving.
The shade cloth is very well made and nicely stitched. The grommets are very strong, and the whole thing works well. I put it up in my screen house to shade transplants from our very harsh sun. It works great and also looks good.
