PRO-MIX BX Biofungicide + Mycorrhizae is a general-purpose growing medium that is great for a wide variety of plants as well as for transplanting applications. It provides the protection of a high-quality biofungicide while offering the growth enhancement properties of 100% contaminant-free mycorrhizae.
This plant growing medium has 75-85% sphagnum peat moss base and is formulated with an introductory fertilizer; we recommend starting a new fertilizer program within 10 days. Use it for almost any growing or transplanting application, including potted flowering plants, greenhouse vegetables, seedlings, foliage plants and medicinal plants.
We offer PROMIX soil in 2.8 cubic foot and 3.8 cubic foot bags. The 3.8 cubic foot size is compressed and expands to approximately 7 cubic feet loose. That amount of loose Pro-Mix fills approximately 75 eight-inch hanging baskets, 90 one-gallon pots, 450 four-inch round pots or 50 standard bedding flats. Order single bags or bulk pallets of PROMIX growing medium with a 100% customer satisfaction guarantee.

About Pallet Size
We are now offering a new bulk ordering size for some of our most popular growing media: the pallet size. Due to certain shipping factors, we are able to offer an entire product pallet for the same shipping cost as smaller bulk orders. For this product, a single pallet consists of (30) 3.8 cubic foot bags or (57) 2.8 cubic foot bags of Pro-Mix. We believe this will be a great option for schools and commercial institutions.
Perfect for seed starting. Very clean . My vegatable garden started with this product.
I potted up over a hundred seedlings this year (what was I thinking?). The texture of Pro-Mix is perfect to work with and all of my seedlings did well.
Pro-Mix seems to have everything my vegetable and flower seedling need when I "pot them on" as the British say.
It also works for the edible geranium flowers I grow in my light tray. They produce best in 4" pots of Pro Mix watered with rain water.
Two bags it in a 65 gallon wheeled trash container to stay dry and be moved to where needed.
I'm not sure the delivery company loves it, but I do.
Will know more after plants have grown.
I love pro mix for starting my seeds each spring. I’ve been using it for years with great success.
I love this product! Haven't lost any seedlings since I started using it. Convenience is a plus too. The extra I pay for this is negated by the labor I spend for the mixing.
I have used BRK and HP in the past, try to stick with Promix even though it is peat based.
More than enough to get all my plants started
Will be using this from now on
I have used Pro-Mix for 50 years for seed starting. Have never had a problem with the 3.8 cubic foot bales and hope to continue using it for another 50 years.
Bought the big bail. This is the best stuff I have used for seed starting since it is so fine. I add a bit of pearlite And how can you beat free shipping on an item this size.
