The Garland Giant Garden Tray is great for both private and commercial gardeners who need a plant staging center. It’s made from recycled polypropylene and sits two inches deep to comfortably hold most seedling pots. This tray can work as a large irrigation table for keeping multiple plants watered when seed-starting and is great for hydroponics. You can also fill it with capillary matting for self-watering - or add horticultural grit to improve drainage and pH balance.

This large garden tray has an internal capacity is 25 liters, allowing a number of plants to be watered quickly. It also features shallow horizontal ridges in the base to assist drainage. (Note the tray itself does not have drainage holes.) Other potential uses include a potting soil/fertilizer mix tray or even as a boot tray to protect floors from water and mud. These are great, sturdy, strong. I'm using them indoors with my seed starts. The will hold 3 seed trays width wise. If only a bit wider they would fit 4.But that is not a deal breaker. I started my seeds too early and needed to up pot into larger pots , hence the larger trays.

Working out well

I purchased this tray for an unconventional purpose. I needed to save money on a dog potty for my balcony. I was growing weary of paying $48.00 per month. I scoured the internet trying to find the right size, and this product was the only one. It's very sturdy and is serving me and the dog well. I just fill it with cedar mulch.

I was looking for big trays to put a few pieces of sod in for my cats so they could lay on some grass. These work perfectly cause you buy one roll of sod and split it in half and it almost fits perfect.

Great trays for seed starting.

This tray fits four 10x20 seed starting 6 packs perfectly. It keeps the water near the developing roots and prevents nutrients from washing away. It is also strong enough to move the four flats if needed.

Giant Garden Tray

The tray is sturdy and good quality. It wont fit four 1020 trays side by side that are 2 inches deep. The outside dementions are 44 3/8" x 21 3/4".

Not good for automated system

Based on the dimensions given, I thought these would work well for loading 4 1020 trays in and still having room for a fill 1/2 in fill tube and 3/4 in drain tube. However, dimensions are external and there is a lip all the way around that s included. Would be more helpful if interior and exterior dimensions were given. The problem is not the trays, it's the information given and in honesty, I should have called and asked but it should also have been clearer on the ordering info.
