This is the perfect greenhouse for starting a greenhouse business. A commercial quality greenhouse at a price that will not break your budget. The frame of this structure is constructed from the same high quality, galvanized steel roll-formed components as our larger greenhouses. As such, this building can be engineered to meet almost any snow or wind load rating. The 6mm twinwall polycarbonate covering offers an R-Factor of 1.55 which is only 0.02 less than 8mm coverings and comes with the same 10 year warranty. For these reasons and more, this package is one of our most popular and will offer performance and reliability for generations.
All Garden Grower Hobby Greenhouses are engineered to meet 85 mph wind and 12 pound live load per the UBC Building Code. Even higher load ratings and stamped engineered plans are available at extra cost. All galvanized steel frame insures maximum strength and life. Lexan twin-wall polycarbonate covering is UV resistant and carries a 10 year warranty against discoloration. The Garden Grower uses the same steel components as utilized in our commercial structures.
1. Erect the structure yourself. We do not recommend this unless you have construction experience. Components supplied are pre-cut and drilled. Step-by-step installation instructions are included. We provide online and telephone support to answer any questions you may have.
2. We have an experienced greenhouse construction team to assemble the greenhouse and install all working components. Turnkey Greenhouse Construction by Greenhouse Megastore allows you to spend time managing your business instead of running a construction project.
3. Use a local contractor to erect the structure.
4. A combination of the above. You or your contractor can begin the project by setting the concrete footings and we can complete the rest of the structure. For information on how best to plan your greenhouse assembly and construction prices, call a Sales Representative toll-free at 1-888-281-9337.

Product was good but instruction were extremely poor. No instructions in my order, requested them, received instructions for an 12x18, mine was a 12x12. I was told they were the same, they are not. I had to recalculate every step. With the price I paid for the product, I should have received a set of instructions that were correct. Extremely poor product list, missing a large number of parts. I do not believe the average person could assemble this without a construction background. Very disappointed in the customer service and response to my questions. The greenhouse turned out great thanks only to my very ingenious husband and a lot of tweaks to the assembly on his part.
As others have mentioned the instructions are not perfect and are geared towards people with experience building metal buildings, but even with no previous experience building a metal building I was able to put mine together without any problems. The video and instructions don't always agree, but together they give enough information to figure out what works. I did most of the construction myself, only needing help to put up the sheeting at the end.
The structure itself is very strong and and looks like it will last a long time. In selecting a greenhouse I was concerned about structural stability, but I have no concerns this one will last a long time.
I built mine on 6X6 timbers, three levels high with earth anchors to keep the foundation secure. I put the timbers on a compacted gravel base. The timbers make some extra headroom and I was able to modify the door without any problems such that it goes into the top two layers of 6X6s.
Overall a great structure and the package was a good deal coming with several accessories that cost a lot when purchased separately.
I would have scored this product at 5 stars, but for the instructions (or lack thereof.) This is a very high quality product, and I am very happy with the end result, but getting there was a test. The instructions did not match the material I received; and the DVD did not match the material or the printed instructions. I found that usually when the printed instructions were contradictory, or did not match the materials, the DVD would clear things up, but several times I just ended up doing what looked right. In summary, this is a quality product that I am very happy with, but if you do not have contruction experience, assembling it will difficult at best.
I would give this product 5 stars except for the building instructions. They are incomplete, inaccurate, confusing and contradictory. Fortunately, this is more than offset by the quality of the greenhouse itself and the helpful support and sales staff. They stand behind their product. If you are skilled and very patient do not hesitate to purchase this kit. You won't be disappointed.
Orchids are a hobby that my wife has picked up over the last few years. She has quite a collection and it continues to grow. We recently purchased a 12ft x 18ft Garden Grower Greenhouse package from Greenhouse Megastore.com. We also purchased a 50% shade cloth, heater vent kit and 10 plastic bench tops. I assembled everything myself with one helper. We are extremely pleased with the end result! The greenhouse kit included step by step instructions and a DVD showing the entire assembly Note: The first thing you need to do is submit a site plan to your local permits & inspections dept and get a permit. You may not be able to build it in the most desirable location. It took one weekend for the base (which I made from 4x4s and pea gravel). I anchored the 4x4s to the ground with 3ft earth anchors. The hardest part was getting it level. The frame was assembled over the 2nd weekend and the covering was completed on the 3rd weekend. The Fans, Shutters & heater did not include everything required for installation, I had to purchase some angle iron & chain from the local hardware store. Don't forget, you will have to purchase all of the electrical. That will add another $300 to the project. The electrical work was accomplished over 3 days and the gas piping another day. I customized the floor with some interesting pavers. I also added some lights so it can be enjoyed at night. Working on weekends only the entire project was done in about 1-1/2 months (12 days). It is truly awesome!! The pictures speak for themselves.
