This lightweight vermiculite provides superb aeration and moisture retention when mixed in with peat, bark, or compost. Also makes excellent fertilizer. Vermiculite soil supports root structure and stimulates fast root growth. Can be used by itself to aid soil-less hydroponic greenhouses.

Lightweight, moisture and nutrient retentive. Good for when higher aeration is required. Increases lateral water movement in growing media.

Perfect for Square Foot Gardening

Mel's mix in Square Foot Gardening calls for corase vermiculite which is both expensive and hard to find locally. This was perfect and very cost effective. Makes our plants happy!
