Cone-tainers Tray

First time using this system. Seems very well thought-out. A great way to start tree seedlings in a very small space. Would love to find out the longevity of this system.

4 stars because they are a little on the brittle side. Cracked one moving it around when it wasn't in use. It did have a couple of years use and am not sure if uv rays affected it's longevity.

Works great for black hills spruce trees and ash trees.

These trays are great! Very sturdy, I carry my seedlings in and out of the house daily, until the weathers warms up.

The Cone-tainers tray is pretty sturdy, you can safely pick it up if you hold it in the middle on both sides. And for the cones themselves, they are rigid and if taken care of they should last 5-10 years easily. I'm getting a second on the way soon.

I simply cannot fathom why any company went to this length and NOT include some form of propagation dome / covering with enough height to cover tree cuttings! This is such a sad oversight, and although I can make one myself, I am also a business man and would strangle someone offering this product from my business without having thought this through.
